Job Requirements
- Must provide proof of eligibility to be employed in the United States of America
- previous food & beverage experience in a senior leadership role
- minimum 5-7 years progressive experience managing F&B operations in a luxury hotel
- computer literacy in Microsoft Windows applications
- university/college degree in a related discipline
- ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, overtime shifts, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous food & beverage experience in a senior leadership role required
- minimum 5-7 years progressive experience managing F&B operations in a luxury hotel gained from working in global key cities
- experience in a Forbes 5-star environment preferred but not essential
- experience in a union environment preferred
- computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required
- university/college degree in a related discipline
- strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- highly responsible and reliable
- ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- ability to work flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, overtime shifts, and holidays
- ability to work effectively with programs including Microsoft Office, Open Table - Guest Centre, Avero Slingshot, Opera, Silverware and Revinate

Job Duties
- Inspire and drive innovative experiences and activations, menus and concepts
- participating as a senior leader in hotel-wide strategic decisions
- leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the Food & Beverage division ensuring all luxury service standards are followed
- ensuring the implementation of standards in guest service and constantly seeking ways to improve product and service as well as increase volumes and profits
- leading and supporting all Food & Beverage departments in achieving financial and operational targets
- preparing annual budgets and administering them in a fiscally responsible manner
- implementing effective control of food, beverage, labor and operating expenses throughout the F&B division
- assisting in the preparation of the annual strategic plan and achieving goals and targets
- overseeing the selection, training and development of all colleagues to ensure timely recruitment and career growth
- working closely with local, state and governmental organizations to maintain the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness in food and beverage areas
- handling guest complaints in the food and beverage division
- monitoring all F&B prices, establishing benchmarks, analyzing sales mix, and ensuring optimal pricing strategy to drive profitability
- coordinating the selection, purchasing, storage, inventorying, maintenance and usage of all related food and beverage supplies and equipment
- developing a high performing F&B leadership team and being invested in their growth
- conducting daily F&B meetings to discuss VIP guests in house and arrivals, revenue updates, operational challenges and ways to improve
- maintaining a favorable working relationship with all divisions to foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate
- following department policies, procedures and service standards
- following all safety policies
- performing other duties as assigned
