This hotel is independently owned and operated by Remington Hospitality, a franchisee separate from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee independently manages all operational aspects, including hiring, firing, employee policies, benefits, and compensation. Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in food and beverage leadership role
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local laws related to food and liquor
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Suite
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in food and beverage leadership role with a proven record of success
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local food and liquor laws and regulations
  • Ability to train staff in responsible alcohol service
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent team leadership and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to provide coaching and counseling

Job Duties

  • Lead, guide and train associates in food and beverage department
  • Ensure management presence during each shift to provide team support
  • Establish and review performance standards in food preparation, purchasing, and production
  • Schedule, evaluate and direct food and beverage team with coaching and counseling when necessary
  • Ensure inventory and supplies are available for associates
  • Monitor cleanliness and organization in food and beverage areas in compliance with state and local laws
  • Establish and review liquor procedures for security and accountability
