Job Requirements
- minimum 7+ years of progressive food and beverage management experience
- experience in luxury hotel or destination resort environments preferred
- ability to lead and develop multi-disciplinary food and beverage teams
- strong financial management skills including budgeting and cost control
- exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- experience in managing large banquet operations and multiple revenue streams
- capability to collaborate cross-functionally within a resort setting
Job Qualifications
- minimum 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in food and beverage management preferably in luxury hotels or destination resorts
- demonstrated success managing high-volume outlets, large banquet operations, and multiple revenue streams
- proven ability to lead culinary and front-of-house teams through operational excellence and strategic direction
- strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and labor/product cost management
- experience with entertainment-driven activations or large-scale special events highly desirable
- passion for guest experience, team development, and sustainable business practices
- degree in hospitality, culinary arts, or business preferred
Job Duties
- develop and execute comprehensive food and beverage strategy aligned with resort positioning and revenue goals
- identify opportunities for innovation in menus, concepts, and guest experiences
- partner with marketing to maximize exposure and attendance at concerts, culinary events, and food truck activations
- direct daily operations of all food and beverage venues including restaurants, cafes, bars, mobile units, and catering
- maintain excellence in service delivery, food quality, safety standards, and brand consistency
- implement systems for efficient workflows, labor optimization, and product consistency
- develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
- monitor and control labor costs, food and beverage cost of goods sold, and profitability
- evaluate vendor contracts and procurement strategies
- lead and mentor front-of-house and culinary teams
- foster a high-performance culture of accountability, creativity, and collaboration
- serve as brand ambassador for all food and beverage outlets and guest experiences
- champion hospitality excellence with local Napa Valley sensibility
- collaborate cross-functionally with rooms, spa, sales, and events
- oversee food and beverage strategy, staffing, and execution for concert series and special events
- ensure food and beverage activations enhance revenue and guest satisfaction
