Job Requirements
- College degree
- At least five years of experience in food and beverage management
- Knowledge of state health and liquor laws
- Proven ability to manage budgets and profitability
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with hotel information systems preferred
- Ability to lead and develop food and beverage teams

- Complete understanding of NOI profitability and budget goals
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques
- Familiarity with state health department rules and liquor laws
- Proficient computer skills with experience in hotel information systems preferred

- Strong interpersonal skills with sensitivity to individual needs
Job Duties
- Monitor industry trends and update beverage lists and menu items as necessary
- Prepare the food and beverage budget and monitor departmental performance
- Collaborate with the General Manager and stay informed on food and beverage issues
- Coordinate and monitor loss prevention measures including monthly inventories and researching cost variances
- Ensure compliance with local liquor laws and health and sanitation regulations
- Interview candidates and follow hiring standards for front-of-house positions
- Conduct daily shift and monthly departmental meetings
- Ensure ongoing guest service training and enforce standard operating procedures and appearance standards
- Attend all required meetings including pre-event and post-event meetings
- Provide employees with training, tools, and an environment conducive to exceptional fine dining experiences
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement
- Conduct inspections to maintain product consistency in seasoning, portions, and food appearance
- Prepare and submit required reports promptly
