Job Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree in hospitality or equivalent education and experience
  • five years of recent and related hospitality or food and beverage experience
  • five years of managerial experience
  • valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • Colorado gaming license
  • successful completion of Bloodborne Pathogens and ServSafe certification
  • ability to perform physical duties including frequent walking, climbing stairs, crouching, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, and standing for full shifts
  • ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • flexible work schedule with routine additional hours
  • reliability and punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • demonstrated hospitality or food and beverage management experience preferably in a gaming environment
  • demonstrated experience directing employees in food and beverage operations
  • experience in persuading and negotiating
  • ability to perform under deadlines and pressure
  • skills in problem-solving, organizing, and prioritizing work
  • knowledge of laws related to safety, workers compensation, employment, and Colorado Limited Gaming Act
  • bachelor's degree in hospitality or equivalent
  • five years of recent related experience including five years managerial experience
  • valid driver’s license with good record
  • Colorado gaming license
  • completion of Bloodborne Pathogens and ServSafe certification

Job Duties

  • maintains a clean and safe work environment
  • develops food and beverage programs to meet corporate goals
  • creates and executes programs to improve operational performance and increase revenue
  • ensures compliance with safety, health, employment law, and gaming regulations
  • hires, trains, coaches, schedules, rewards, and disciplines staff
  • supervises restaurant and bar managers and staff
  • ensures uniforms and licenses are properly worn
  • implements policies and procedures and communicates updates
  • manages and controls food and beverage budget
  • participates in casino management meetings
  • negotiates with and selects vendors
  • monitors operations and conducts profit and loss analysis
  • performs any position in the food and beverage department as needed
  • maintains performance standards for guest interaction
  • directs monthly inventory reconciliation
  • programs menus into point-of-sale systems
  • enforces security policies
  • maintains regular and reliable attendance
  • performs special projects as directed
