Job Requirements

  • College degree
  • Minimum five years of relevant experience in food and beverage management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of profitability, budgeting, and operational goals
  • Understanding of health and liquor laws
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to deliver excellent guest service
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • College degree
  • Five years of related experience in food and beverage
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of NOI profitability and budget goals
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques
  • Familiarity with state health department rules and liquor laws
  • Proficiency in computer skills with preference for hotel information systems experience
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills with sensitivity and respect for individual needs

Job Duties

  • Monitor industry trends and update beverage lists and menu items as necessary
  • Prepare and monitor the food and beverage budget and department performance
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to address food and beverage issues
  • Coordinate and monitor loss prevention activities including monthly inventories and cost variance research
  • Ensure compliance with local liquor laws and health regulations
  • Interview and approve hiring for front-of-house staff
  • Conduct daily shift and monthly departmental meetings and oversee guest service training
  • Attend all required meetings including pre-event and post-event reviews
  • Provide training and support for staff to deliver exceptional fine dining experiences
  • Develop strategies to enhance employee engagement
  • Conduct inspections to maintain product consistency
  • Prepare and submit required departmental reports in a timely manner
