Job Requirements
- At least 6 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field or a 4-year college degree and at least 3 years of related experience or a 2-year college degree and 4 or more years of related experience
- Proficient in Windows, company approved spreadsheets and word processing
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques, health department rules and regulations, liquor laws and regulations
- Ability to work long hours
- Capability to exert medium work including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently or constantly
- Effective communication skills verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and guests
- Skilled in attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented interactions
- Ability to listen, understand, and clarify concerns of employees and guests
- Skill in multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
- Approach all encounters in a friendly and service oriented manner
- Attendance at all required hotel meetings and trainings
- Willingness to participate in M.O.D. coverage as needed
- Maintains regular attendance per scheduling requirements
- Maintains professional appearance and grooming including wearing nametags

Job Duties
- Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and employees
- Supervise all food and beverage personnel
- Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner
- Prepare the food and beverage budget and monitor department performance including forecasting
- Monitor industry trends and take appropriate action to maintain competitive and profitable operations
- Work with executive committee members and keep them informed of food and beverage issues
- Coordinate and monitor all phases of loss prevention in the food and beverage department
