Job Requirements
- At least three years of progressive experience in food & beverage management in a resort or hotel
- College coursework preferred
- Prior supervisory experience
- Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively in English
- Certified alcohol training required
- Physical ability to work long hours and perform medium work including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist, reach, and stand for long periods
- Comfort working under variable temperature and noise conditions
- Near vision capability to see details clearly
Job Qualifications
- College coursework in hospitality management or related field preferred
- Minimum three years progressive experience in food & beverage management in a hotel or resort setting
- Prior supervisory experience managing diverse teams
- Certified alcohol training
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Proficient in computer use and various software programs used in hospitality operations
- Ability to handle difficult situations and people professionally
Job Duties
- Be responsible for all things food & beverage including all food outlets, lounges, banquet areas, room service, and kitchens
- Manage and lead food & beverage managers, supervisors, and staff to ensure exceptional service and safety
- Develop and execute innovative food & beverage marketing programs to attract guests and maximize revenue
- Collaborate with Executive Chef and Catering Sales team for menu planning and event guest experiences
- Conduct regular inspections of all food & beverage outlets to maintain high standards and identify training needs
- Engage with guests and staff to listen and respond to service opportunities and operational improvements
- Manage budgets, forecasts, staffing levels, and inventory to optimize financial performance while ensuring excellent guest experiences
