Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Serve Safe certification or equivalent
  • Two years supervisory experience in dietary environment
  • Ability to obtain culinary or dietary manager certification preferred
  • Knowledge of state and county specific certifications
  • Experience in senior living hospitality or healthcare dining preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • State and county specific certifications
  • Two years supervisory experience within a dietary environment
  • Experience in senior living hospitality or healthcare dining preferred
  • General knowledge of productivity costs budgets energy conservation purchasing receiving storing preparation serving pilferage portion control personnel development kitchen sanitation and management

Job Duties

  • Recruit hire train motivate and educate staff
  • Maintain department records and perform administrative functions
  • Establish document direct and assist with kitchen and dining room sanitation procedures
  • Coordinate with community leadership team for special functions or resident needs
  • Comply with all state local and federal rules regulations and licensing requirements related to health safety OSHA and Food and Beverage operations
