Job Requirements
- Education or equivalent experience in automotive management or related field
- Prior experience as a fixed operations director or similar role
- Demonstrable success in managing service and parts departments
- Familiarity with General Motors systems and processes
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Ability to oversee departmental budgets and performance
Job Qualifications
- Experience forecasting goals and objectives for fixed operations
- Proven ability to hire, train, motivate, and monitor service and parts managers
- Experience in budgeting and financial management of service and parts departments
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of team development
- Experience working within General Motors dealership operations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Job Duties
- Forecast goals and objectives for the fixed operations department
- Hire, train, motivate, and monitor the performance of service and parts department managers
- Prepare and administer the annual operating budget for service and parts departments
- Develop team members at all levels with strong leadership skills
- Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment
- Maintain high customer satisfaction index (CSI) standards
- Communicate efficiently across departments and with senior management
