Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- minimum 4 years of hotel accounting experience
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial systems
- strong leadership and organizational skills
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- leadership experience supervising staff
- availability to work extended hours including weekends, public holidays, and late nights
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 4+ years of hotel accounting experience
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial systems
- strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- leadership experience supervising 2 or more employees
- experience with branded systems like Hilton or Marriott
- experience with PMS/POS systems such as Oracle Opera, Micros, Symphony
- multilingual is a plus
Job Duties
- Train and coach property accounting teams to uphold and align with Remington’s financial policies, procedures, and controls
- oversee accurate and timely financial reporting including budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, and compliance with deadlines
- collaborate with property leadership to achieve financial goals and prepare actionable financial insights
- implement, monitor, and maintain key financial controls to safeguard assets, maximize profitability, and minimize losses
- ensure compliance with corporate policies, management agreements, legal regulations, and audit requirements
- actively participate in property staff meetings, MOD programs, corporate initiatives, and audits
- effectively manage and communicate cash flow related issues and prepare monthly financial statements
- monitor hotel revenues and expenses ensuring accuracy and compliance
- ensure compliance on all regulatory licenses, permits, leases, contracts, and execution of operational taxes
- analyze financial data and operations to assist management in maintaining financial objectives
- timely reviews and approval of all balance sheet accounts, including reconciliations
- establish and audit internal financial controls
- hire, train, supervise, and develop staff
- monitor compliance with report deadlines
- execute other special projects and responsibilities as assigned
