Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • minimum 4 years of hotel accounting experience
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial systems
  • strong leadership and organizational skills
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • leadership experience supervising staff
  • availability to work extended hours including weekends, public holidays, and late nights

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 4+ years of hotel accounting experience
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial systems
  • strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • leadership experience supervising 2 or more employees
  • experience with branded systems like Hilton or Marriott
  • experience with PMS/POS systems such as Oracle Opera, Micros, Symphony
  • multilingual is a plus

Job Duties

  • Train and coach property accounting teams to uphold and align with Remington’s financial policies, procedures, and controls
  • oversee accurate and timely financial reporting including budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, and compliance with deadlines
  • collaborate with property leadership to achieve financial goals and prepare actionable financial insights
  • implement, monitor, and maintain key financial controls to safeguard assets, maximize profitability, and minimize losses
  • ensure compliance with corporate policies, management agreements, legal regulations, and audit requirements
  • actively participate in property staff meetings, MOD programs, corporate initiatives, and audits
  • effectively manage and communicate cash flow related issues and prepare monthly financial statements
  • monitor hotel revenues and expenses ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • ensure compliance on all regulatory licenses, permits, leases, contracts, and execution of operational taxes
  • analyze financial data and operations to assist management in maintaining financial objectives
  • timely reviews and approval of all balance sheet accounts, including reconciliations
  • establish and audit internal financial controls
  • hire, train, supervise, and develop staff
  • monitor compliance with report deadlines
  • execute other special projects and responsibilities as assigned
