Job Requirements
- B.S. in accounting or finance
- 5 to 7 years' experience in public accounting or financial management at a supervisory level or department head
- knowledge of general and cost accounting
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to handle confidential information
- supervisory experience
- proficiency in Microsoft D365
- CPA preferred
Job Qualifications
- B.S. in accounting or finance from a four-year college or university
- 5 to 7 years' experience in public accounting or financial management at a supervisory level
- extensive knowledge of general and cost accounting
- excellent math skills with high aptitude for figures
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to maintain highly confidential information
- effective supervisory skills
- proficiency with accounting spreadsheets and word processing software, specifically Microsoft D365
- CPA preferred
Job Duties
- Assist in the development and implementation of facility financial goals and priorities
- monitor compliance with management contracts
- maintain contact with risk management and insurance brokers
- review contracts for clients, events, subcontractors, food and beverage, or concessionaires
- prepare and review event settlements
- execute checks, deposits, and review daily cash receipts and disbursements
- monitor and project daily cash flow and invest excess cash
- oversee purchasing of capital assets, office and facility supplies
- develop and implement all financial reporting including financial statements, budgets, and annual reports
- direct maintenance of accounting records and ledgers
- analyze financial performance and cost analyses
- prepare statements of estimated future costs and revenues
- direct internal audits and coordinate external audit materials
- coordinate year-end fiscal performance reporting
- install and maintain accounting, timekeeping, payroll, inventory, property, and control procedures
- review financial statements with management
- participate in union labor contract administration
- act as Manager on Duty as needed
