Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of senior financial management experience with increasing responsibility
  • masters in business administration required
  • extensive accounting experience in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • prior California experience recommended
  • excellent leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • effective communication skills in English
  • strong analytical skills
  • ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Qualifications

  • Masters in Business Administration
  • extensive knowledge of business methods, financial procedures, accounting and auditing practices
  • experience with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • over 10 years of senior financial management experience

Job Duties

  • Function as the strategic financial business leader
  • champion, develop and implement property-wide financial strategies
  • provide financial expertise for service standards and brand initiatives
  • recommend and support the development and implementation of internal control systems, policies, procedures, and technology
  • conduct regular balance sheet reviews and ensure accuracy
  • recommend and assist in designing methods to improve financial schedules, forecasts, plans, and budgets
  • analyze and interpret financial data and communicate findings
  • act as financial advisor and business partner to the General Manager
  • monitor, approve, and recommend capital expenditures
  • ensure compliance with licenses, permits, contracts, and tax regulations
  • direct preparation of annual budgets and weekly forecasts
  • lead and manage the finance team to foster collaboration and excellence
