Job Requirements

  • Graduate degree in accounting or related field
  • Five to ten years of relevant experience in finance or accounting in hospitality or related industry
  • Ability to make decisions based on general policies and procedures
  • Proficient in computer systems and accounting software
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 15-20 pounds
  • Limited bending and kneeling required
  • Must work inside for 100 percent of the work period

Job Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of accounting, finance and hospitality professions
  • Working knowledge of major areas in finance and accounting integration
  • Professional certification such as CPA or equivalent experience
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent speech communication required for training and management interactions
  • Strong comprehension and literacy for report preparation

Job Duties

  • Establish and coordinate financial control plans
  • Administer profit planning, sales forecasts, expense budgets and capital requirements
  • Formulate local accounting policies and prepare operating reports
  • Act as a financial consultant providing impact analysis to management
  • Ensure compliance with tax filing and government reporting procedures
  • Monitor adherence to hotel and accounting policies and contractual obligations
  • Manage installation and maintenance of accounting systems and equipment
