Job Requirements
- Minimum five years of progressive accounting and finance management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality preferred but not required with proven experience
- Experience in hotel accounting preferred
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, especially during month-end close periods
- Ability to lead and manage accounting teams effectively
- Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills

Job Qualifications
- Minimum five years of progressive accounting and finance management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality preferred but not required with proven experience
- Background in hotel accounting, familiarity with AHLA Uniform System of Accounts is a plus
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience leading teams in hiring, training, and development
- Ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders and departments
- Demonstrated ethical decision-making and confidentiality adherence
Job Duties
- Reinforce the companys art and science ideologies to ensure translocal hospitality and intuitive service are modeled by hotel leaders
- Actively participate in interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and motivating associates to nurture ideas and develop future talent
- Ensure a sense of belonging by upholding values for a respectful, diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace
- Role model open-door policy and employee engagement practices to maintain a positive work environment and good business ethics
- Lead accounting and finance procedures, practices, and policies ensuring deadlines are met
- Prepare budgets and forecasts collaboratively to establish major economic objectives and policies
- Develop and implement procedures and training for efficient and timely completion of accounting activities
- Provide financial analysis to key stakeholders and collaborate with senior finance executives and management
- Administer and enforce legal and finance compliance policies including SOX, PCI, and other reporting requirements
- Oversee financial reporting, audits, regulatory reporting, and identify process inefficiencies with solutions
- Ensure compliance with Hotel Management Agreement, negotiate and monitor vendor contracts, liaise with owners and departments
- Advise management on tax code revisions, ensure timely tax payments, payroll and vendor invoice processing, and safeguard resources and risk management
- Participate in Lobby Duty Program to engage with guests and associates during assigned times
