Job Requirements
- B.S. in accounting or finance from a four-year college or university
- 3 to 5 years experience in public accounting or financial management
- Extensive knowledge of general and cost accounting
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Effective supervisory skills
- Proficiency with SAGE accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with ADP payroll processing software preferred
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Eligibility to work in the United States

Job Duties
- Assists in development and implementation of facility goals and priorities relating to financial management, budget, accounting, purchasing, and payroll in compliance with state and federal law and ASM Global policies and procedures
- Supervises bi-weekly payroll processing
- Provides direct oversight of the Accounting Manager
- Prepares invoices and monthly revenue recognition entries
- Performs or assists with event settlements
- Assists with preparation of food and beverage monthly cost of goods sold and event settlement entries
- Prepares and performs bank reconciliations
- Supervises and assists with preparation of all financial reporting including financial statements for the client and ASM Global corporate, monthly statements, annual budget, and annual report
- Directs installation and maintenance of accounting records to show receipts and expenditures
- Maintains general and subsidiary ledgers for accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, prepaid assets, and deferred liabilities
- Verifies and checks accuracy of general ledger coding
- Prepares and analyzes information for financial statements and reports
- Prepares statements and reports on future revenues and costs
- Directs internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls
- Coordinates preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting and works with auditors to verify financial information and procedures
- Establishes system controls for new financial systems and develops procedures to improve existing systems
- Reviews financial statements with management personnel
- Prepares required annual budgets with assistance from the Director of Finance
- Ensures regular attendance
- Performs other duties as assigned
