Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in food and beverage leadership
  • Experience managing multiple outlets within a hotel, resort, or fine dining context
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, revenue management, labor costs control, and inventory systems
  • Proven ability in coaching and leading teams towards service excellence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze market competition and pricing strategies
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Capability to maintain a safe, sanitary, and productive work environment
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, and lift 10-45 pounds regularly
  • Commitment to company standards and customer satisfaction
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in coordinating large group meetings and banquet functions
  • Ability to delegate tasks effectively and manage staff schedules

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of food and beverage leadership experience running multiple outlets
  • Experience leading a team of leaders in a service excellence-focused environment
  • Food and beverage experience in a hotel, resort, or fine dining establishment
  • Knowledge of operating a budget, revenue, labor, inventory systems, and costs
  • Knowledge of bar wine and spirits, building cocktail programs and wine lists
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Good judgment with timely and sound decision-making ability

Job Duties

  • Achieve budgeted food sales, beverage sales, labor costs and profitability
  • Analyze food and beverage prices in relation to competition in a timely manner
  • Participate and provide input towards food and beverage marketing
  • Perform competitive analysis semi-annually by gathering data on competitors
  • Develop and maintain department control procedures
  • Handle food and beverage inquiries with same-day follow-up
  • Coordinate with large group meeting and banquet planners on group requirements
  • Manage staff including handling complaints and disciplinary procedures
  • Strategize to improve staff performance and guest service scores
  • Ensure open, concise, constructive, and timely communication
  • Oversee receiving deliveries for stock and inventory
  • Maintain a safe, orderly, and sanitized establishment
  • Report stock shortages including glasses and equipment
  • Liaise with General Manager over liquor stocks, costs, and spillage
  • Participate as a management team member in decision making and meetings
  • Delegate work and determine operational methods for staff
  • Oversee daily and shift schedules and make adjustments as needed
  • Ensure maximum revenue achievement from all sales opportunities
  • Support service culture and conduct hotel brand-related trainings
  • Ensure a safe and productive work environment
