Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, business management, or related field
  • 5-7 years of management or director experience in facility, property management, or entertainment venue
  • strong technical knowledge of building infrastructure and maintenance programs
  • availability for emergency response outside normal working hours including evenings and weekends
  • ability to work event nights, weekends, and holidays
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • strong problem-solving and organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, business management, or a related field is often preferred
  • minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a management or director role within a large facility, property management, or entertainment venue setting
  • strong understanding of building infrastructure, automation systems, technical equipment, and preventive maintenance programs
  • excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • strong problem-solving, project management, and organizational abilities
  • must be available to respond to emergencies outside of normal working hours including evenings and weekends
  • ability to work event nights, weekends and holidays as required

Job Duties

  • Direct and manage all maintenance activities for building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire/life safety systems
  • coordinate with event organizers and internal departments to ensure facility readiness and seamless execution of large-scale sports and entertainment events
  • develop, monitor, and manage departmental operating and capital budgets
  • oversee procurement processes, negotiate contracts with vendors and contractors, and track project expenditures
  • ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including building codes, fire safety (NFPA), health codes, OSHA, and ADA standards
  • develop and maintain emergency preparedness and disaster recovery plans
  • oversee renovations, additions, and capital improvement projects from planning and design to execution
  • hire, train, supervise, and evaluate a high-performing team of facilities and custodial staff
  • source, negotiate, and manage contracts and relationships with third-party service providers
  • perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
