Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • proficient in Microsoft Office 365
  • ability to read, understand, and apply laws and licensing and accreditation standards
  • ability to read, understand, and apply instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • demonstrated knowledge of building maintenance
  • demonstrated skill in maintaining accurate and thorough reports and records
  • ability to work constructively and interact professionally with others
  • ability to coordinate multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities and work within deadlines
  • strong verbal and written skills
  • own transportation that meets agency vehicle inspection requirements
  • valid driver's license with no more than 3 points
  • proof of insurance that meets agency requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • demonstrated knowledge of building maintenance
  • demonstrated skill in maintaining accurate and thorough reports and records
  • strong verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties

  • Develop and execute strategic and operational plans
  • serve as the liaison for vendors
  • prepare and manage department financials to adhere to budgetary priorities
  • develop a system for overseeing janitorial, maintenance, and food inventories
  • ensure the agency is in compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies
  • manage, supervise, and professionally develop direct reports including scheduling, time-off requests, and training
  • develop, maintain and track facility warranty records, deferred maintenance plan, capital needs/wants
  • monitor and update agency safety and emergency response planning
  • coordinate agency communication pertaining to drills, closures, and emergency issues
  • manage municipal access systems
  • work with programmatic leadership to ensure timely turnover of facilities
  • manage the facilities software management system
  • plan, coordinate, direct, and assist volunteers working on facility tasks
  • co-lead agency safety committee
  • complete other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
