Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- ability to read, understand, and apply laws and licensing and accreditation standards
- ability to read, understand, and apply instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- demonstrated knowledge of building maintenance
- demonstrated skill in maintaining accurate and thorough reports and records
- ability to work constructively and interact professionally with others
- ability to coordinate multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities and work within deadlines
- strong verbal and written skills
- own transportation that meets agency vehicle inspection requirements
- valid driver's license with no more than 3 points
- proof of insurance that meets agency requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- demonstrated knowledge of building maintenance
- demonstrated skill in maintaining accurate and thorough reports and records
- strong verbal and written communication skills
Job Duties
- Develop and execute strategic and operational plans
- serve as the liaison for vendors
- prepare and manage department financials to adhere to budgetary priorities
- develop a system for overseeing janitorial, maintenance, and food inventories
- ensure the agency is in compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies
- manage, supervise, and professionally develop direct reports including scheduling, time-off requests, and training
- develop, maintain and track facility warranty records, deferred maintenance plan, capital needs/wants
- monitor and update agency safety and emergency response planning
- coordinate agency communication pertaining to drills, closures, and emergency issues
- manage municipal access systems
- work with programmatic leadership to ensure timely turnover of facilities
- manage the facilities software management system
- plan, coordinate, direct, and assist volunteers working on facility tasks
- co-lead agency safety committee
- complete other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
