Job Requirements
- 3-5 years event catering experience preferred
- Knowledge of CI/TY and Marriott systems including Lightspeed
- Proficient in Microsoft Word Office Internet Explorer/Google Chrome
- Well organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work independently
- Display initiative perseverance and analytical skills
- Effective communication
- Professional and ethical
- Displays enthusiasm
- Excellent customer service skills
- Team player and ability to get along with others
- Ability to read write and speak English with excellent grammar and communication skills

Job Duties
- Lead overall events strategy to achieve and exceed annual revenue and profitability goals
- Partner with Sales Leadership to establish and execute targeted sales and marketing plans for group and catering business development
- Drive revenue optimization through strategic pricing and upselling initiatives
- Assist with banquet menu development
- Participate in 30-60-90 day banquet forecasting
- Direct all aspects of event planning and execution ensuring coordination across Banquets, Culinary, and Operations
- Lead conference planning meetings ensuring alignment on event details, logistics, and service standards
- Establish and maintain operational standards, processes, and documentation for consistency and excellence
