Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5+ years of senior-level event sales experience in hospitality
  • proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, fine-dining or luxury hospitality setting
  • strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • proficiency in sales forecasting and budget management
  • knowledge of luxury event market trends

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of senior-level event sales experience in the hospitality sector, preferably fine dining or high-end restaurant environment
  • established network within the NYC/New Jersey luxury events and corporate markets
  • ability to develop and execute comprehensive event sales strategies
  • strong client relationship management skills
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • proven track record of driving revenue growth
  • experience collaborating with culinary, operations, and service teams
  • proficiency in preparing banquet event orders and event proposals

Job Duties

  • lead all sales efforts for private dining, special events, and premium experiences at restaurants and affiliated event spaces
  • drive revenue growth, cultivate high-value client relationships, and ensure seamless collaboration across operations, culinary, and service teams
  • develop and execute event sales strategies tailored to luxury restaurant settings
  • conduct site tours, consultations, presentations, and negotiations with prospective clients
  • build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate, social, and repeat clients to drive referrals and repeat business
  • oversee creation of detailed banquet event orders, menus, floor plans, AV/production needs, and staffing requirements
  • prepare and monitor sales forecasts, budgets, revenue reports, and key performance metrics
