Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of audio visual experience
  • Minimum 3 years of operations supervisory or management experience
  • Minimum 3 years of customer service or hospitality experience
  • Sales experience considered a plus
  • Knowledge of audio-visual equipment in live show environments
  • Certification in Ops 200 and Leadership 200
  • Proficiency using computer hardware
  • Proficiency with software including Internet and Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated leadership skills focused on customer satisfaction and people development
  • Valid driver’s license if operating company vehicles

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of audio-visual equipment in a live show environment

  • Proficiency with computer software including Internet and Microsoft Office
  • Effective leadership abilities with a focus on customer satisfaction and people development
  • Valid driver’s license for company vehicle operation

Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels to provide outstanding customer service and focus on retention
  • Service high-profile and visibility events acting as a point of escalation
  • Identify key issues and decision makers influencing contract renewals leveraging internal resources
  • Partner with Venue Sales Leadership on sales strategies
  • Create and participate in business review presentations
  • Manage an efficient and profitable operation focusing on revenue maximization and cost control
  • Ensure event profitability through proper staffing per event
  • Direct operations team to manage daily floor operations including scheduling, equipment setup, operation, and strike
  • Enforce inventory control procedures maintaining safety and quality assurance of equipment
  • Act as a resource for technical support for sales and operations teams
  • Hold sales team accountable for maintaining a healthy pipeline to achieve revenue targets
  • Lead sales forecasting efforts ensuring accuracy and timely submission
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, venue personnel, and Encore departments to deliver world-class service
  • Direct and manage performance, staffing, and team development promoting a culture of high performance and accountability
