Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of audio visual experience
  • At least 1 year supervisory experience
  • Preferably 2 years customer service or hospitality experience
  • Sales experience considered an advantage
  • Familiarity with live show audio visual equipment
  • Completion of Level 3 Skills training
  • Proficient with computer hardware
  • Skilled in computer software including Microsoft Office and internet
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Valid driver’s license for vehicle operation

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of audio visual experience
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience
  • 2+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of audio visual equipment in live show environments
  • Ability to successfully complete Level 3 Skills training
  • Proficiency with computer hardware
  • Proficiency with software including internet and Microsoft Office
  • Effective leadership abilities
  • Strong customer satisfaction focus
  • Valid driver’s license required for staff operating company vehicles

Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients at all organizational levels and provide outstanding customer service while focusing on customer retention
  • Service events and act as a point of escalation when needed
  • Identify key issues and decision makers influencing contract renewal and leverage resources to facilitate planning for business renewal
  • Consult with Venue Sales Leadership on sales strategies
  • Participate in business review presentations
  • Drive revenue maximization and profitability using cost control measures
  • Manage labor, equipment sub-rentals and control costs to achieve financial goals
  • Utilize operational and financial reports and complete all required reports accurately and timely
  • Coordinate invoicing activities ensuring client approval
  • Complete sales forecasts accurately and on time
  • Manage location P&L and develop action plans for deficiencies or growth
  • Confirm timely payment processing with venue partners
  • Direct daily floor operations including scheduling, equipment setup, operation, and strikes
  • Ensure timely delivery and quality of equipment and services according to specifications
  • Anticipate equipment challenges and resolve them professionally
  • Maintain inventory control with safety and quality assurance
  • Share labor and equipment efficiently within the local market
  • Attend operational venue meetings and daily stand-ups
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues
  • Utilize company computer systems effectively
  • Act as solo on-site technician if necessary
  • Develop strategies to maximize event revenue including upselling and cross-selling
  • Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and quotes
  • Support site visits and pre-conference planning
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to capture and service events
  • Incorporate event cost structures in solution designs
  • Attend customer meetings and respond to their needs
  • Maintain accurate customer information in CRM
  • Stay updated on new products and emerging technologies
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and venue personnel
  • Oversee event execution personnel
  • Exceed expectations of internal and external customers
  • Meet with guests to ensure needs are met and equipment functions properly
  • Monitor small venues and customer check-ins
  • Maintain professional image according to company and venue standards
  • Promote culture of high performance, accountability and continuous improvement
  • Embrace company core values
  • Manage staff performance, concerns, and development
  • Select and onboard employees and conduct performance management
  • Provide ongoing coaching and training on service standards and systems
  • Recommend training opportunities
