Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of audio visual experience
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience
  • 2+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • Sales experience
  • Working knowledge of audio visual equipment
  • Must be able to successfully complete Level 3 Skills training
  • Proficiency with computer hardware
  • Proficiency with computer software and programs including the Internet and Microsoft Office
  • Effective leadership abilities and customer satisfaction focus
  • A valid driver’s license for team members who may operate company vehicles

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels and provide outstanding customer service
  • Service events and act as a point of escalation when needed
  • Identify key issues and decision makers to facilitate contract renewals
  • Consult with venue sales leadership on sales strategies
  • Participate in business review presentations
  • Manage efficient and profitable operations with focus on revenue maximization and cost control
  • Achieve financial goals by managing labor, equipment sub-rentals and other costs
  • Utilize operational and financial reports for timely and accurate reporting
  • Coordinate invoicing activities ensuring client approval
  • Complete sales forecasts timely and accurately
  • Manage location profit and loss and develop action plans
  • Confirm timely payments from venue partners
  • Direct daily floor operations including scheduling and equipment setups, operation, and strikes
  • Ensure equipment and services meet client and venue specifications and brand standards
  • Anticipate equipment challenges and implement timely solutions
  • Maintain proper inventory levels with safety and quality assurance
  • Share labor and equipment efficiently within local market
  • Attend operational venue meetings
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting and problem solving for technical issues
  • Use company computer systems effectively
  • Act as solo on-site technician if necessary
  • Create strategies to maximize event revenue including upsell and cross-sell
  • Prepare and deliver presentations demonstrating value to customers
  • Present quotes and proposals timely through various platforms
  • Attend site visits and planning meetings to support customer event experience
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to capture events
  • Understand and apply event cost structures for profitability
  • Maintain accurate customer information in the CRM system
  • Stay updated on new product and technology offerings
  • Deliver world-class service and oversee personnel for event execution
  • Meet guest needs and ensure equipment accuracy
  • Monitor venues and customer satisfaction
  • Promote a professional image and ensure team adherence
  • Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Manage human resource activities including selection, performance management, and training
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities
  • Implement diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
