Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area
  • or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area

Job Duties

  • Manage event management functions and staff on a daily basis
  • Lead execution of activities to support the event management strategy
  • Review scheduled events and event complexity to avoid service challenges
  • Ensure meeting space and heart of the house areas are cleaned and maintained
  • Lead catering menu development and ensure compliance with food handling standards
  • Oversee function space and group room blocks for turned opportunities
  • Communicate and execute departmental and property emergency procedures
