Job Requirements

Job Duties
- manage all aspects of the catering department in accordance with company and brand standards
- coordinate details and menus for client functions
- maintain budgeted revenues through business solicitation
- monitor and control financial and administrative responsibilities including asset protection
- train and develop catering staff to ensure high service levels
- execute event requirements based on standards
- interact with catering employees, clients, chefs, vendors, and suppliers
- communicate group needs to various departments within the property
- create written and verbal presentations effectively
- meet with clients to plan functions and highlight facility features
- communicate all catering event details to operating departments and customers
- manage quality process in customer service and employee satisfaction
- qualify business and track leads
- solicit and book meetings, conferences, and catered events
- finalize and upsell catering arrangements for group business
- negotiate and market to drive sales and create profits
- provide coaching and counseling to employees
- direct employee development, training, and mentoring
- manage employee productivity and resolve conflicts
- adhere to EEO and AA policies
