Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Four years of relevant experience in event management food and beverage sales and marketing or related area
- OR Associate degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management Hospitality Business Administration or related major
- Two years of relevant experience in event management food and beverage sales and marketing or related area
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in event management software and tools
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in event management food and beverage sales and marketing or related field
- OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management Hospitality Business Administration or related major with 2 years experience in event management food and beverage sales and marketing or related field
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle complex or high-profile events
- Competency in customer service management
Job Duties
- Manage event planning team including Senior Event Managers and Administrative Assistants
- Oversee event operations from pre-event planning through post-event execution
- Coordinate seamless turnover between sales and operations to maintain service quality
- Maximize revenue opportunities through upselling catering and group room blocks
- Lead development and execution of event management strategies
- Train and develop staff to meet guest service expectations
- Review guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance satisfaction
