Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Four years of relevant experience in event management food and beverage sales and marketing or related area
  • OR Associate degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management Hospitality Business Administration or related major
  • Two years of relevant experience in event management food and beverage sales and marketing or related area
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in event management food and beverage sales and marketing or related field
  • OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management Hospitality Business Administration or related major with 2 years experience in event management food and beverage sales and marketing or related field
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle complex or high-profile events
  • Competency in customer service management

Job Duties

  • Manage event planning team including Senior Event Managers and Administrative Assistants
  • Oversee event operations from pre-event planning through post-event execution
  • Coordinate seamless turnover between sales and operations to maintain service quality
  • Maximize revenue opportunities through upselling catering and group room blocks
  • Lead development and execution of event management strategies
  • Train and develop staff to meet guest service expectations
  • Review guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance satisfaction
