Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 4 years of experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area
- OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Strong leadership abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets and financial performance
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Willingness to attend pre-event meetings and lead team communications

- OR associate degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years experience in related professional area
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage teams and budgets effectively
- Experience in guest service excellence and customer relations
- Knowledge of safety procedures, food handling and sanitation standards
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges
- Proficiency in coordinating multiple stakeholders and departments
- Familiarity with event technology and logistics management
- Commitment to upholding company policies and standards
Job Duties
- Manage all event service, banquet and event technology operations and staff daily
- Develop and implement business plans and long-term strategies for event operations
- Establish and monitor measurable departmental goals
- Oversee event logistics execution and administrative processes
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of function spaces and equipment
- Lead event management meetings and coordinate event delivery teams
- Communicate and execute emergency and safety procedures
- Work with culinary and HR teams for compliance and training
- Consult with customers to determine event objectives
- Maintain strong client, vendor, and competitor relationships
- Review staffing levels and resolve scheduling conflicts
- Attend pre-event meetings to gather critical client information
- Ensure disciplinary procedures are followed in accordance with SOPs
- Participate in audits and certifications for staff
- Assist with corporate event initiatives and promotions
- Monitor budgets, adjust expenditures, and maintain profitability
- Review and integrate current trends in event management
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and promote business growth through referrals and repeat events
- Ensure ongoing communication in all areas of event operations
