Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales, marketing, or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related major
  • 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales, marketing, or related professional area
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication ability
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to manage budgets and control costs
  • Proven customer service skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales, or related area
  • OR 2-year degree in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related major with 2 years relevant experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic business plans
  • Experience managing budgets and maximizing profitability
  • Knowledge of event technology and operations
  • Ability to maintain high customer service standards

Job Duties

  • Manage all event service, banquet and event technology operations and staff daily
  • Develop and implement business plans and long-term strategies for event operations
  • Oversee execution of event logistics for all events
  • Ensure function space and related areas are maintained and clean
  • Maximize revenue through up-selling and manage departmental costs effectively
  • Lead event management and operations meetings
  • Ensure compliance with safety, food handling, and sanitation standards
