Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Five to seven years of relevant foodservice management experience
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities
- Strong understanding of financial and operational business management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and resilience under pressure
- ServSafe certification
- Ability to perform required essential functions
Job Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Food Services Technology or Management or related field
- A.A. degree plus four years of related experience accepted
- Five to seven years of direct foodservice operational management experience
- Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, production, sanitation, and food cost controls
- Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience preferred
- Strong supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, clients, customers, and associates
- Proficient in computer programs including Microsoft Office
- ServSafe Certified
Job Duties
- Develop and implement overall operating strategy aligned with Compass Community Living and client business strategy
- Take full ownership of driving outcomes and hold leadership accountable for service behaviors
- Evaluate personnel, operations, and culinary situations and make recommendations
- Ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations and Compass Group standards through daily walk-throughs
- Direct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs
- Lead pre-meal briefings and staff meetings to ensure communication
- Advise executives and team members on relevant updates promptly
