Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Five to seven years of relevant foodservice management experience
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities
  • Strong understanding of financial and operational business management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and resilience under pressure
  • ServSafe certification
  • Ability to perform required essential functions

Job Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Food Services Technology or Management or related field
  • A.A. degree plus four years of related experience accepted
  • Five to seven years of direct foodservice operational management experience
  • Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, production, sanitation, and food cost controls
  • Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience preferred
  • Strong supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, clients, customers, and associates
  • Proficient in computer programs including Microsoft Office
  • ServSafe Certified

Job Duties

  • Develop and implement overall operating strategy aligned with Compass Community Living and client business strategy
  • Take full ownership of driving outcomes and hold leadership accountable for service behaviors
  • Evaluate personnel, operations, and culinary situations and make recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations and Compass Group standards through daily walk-throughs
  • Direct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs
  • Lead pre-meal briefings and staff meetings to ensure communication
  • Advise executives and team members on relevant updates promptly
