Job Requirements

  • Degree in Culinary Arts or Restaurant Service, preferred
  • Food Safety certification, required
  • Previous experience cooking in a similar environment
  • Ability to lead a team effectively
  • Physical ability to lift trays and move dining furniture
  • Effective communication skills
  • Punctuality and reliability

Job Duties

  • Oversee culinary department operations and supervise all department associates
  • Maintain inventory of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Manage the culinary budget and control costs
  • Prepare and serve food and refreshments
  • Oversee setup for all meals and special events
  • Ensure cleanliness and smooth functioning of kitchen and dining areas
  • Provide exceptional dining experiences that meet the needs of senior residents
