Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree in culinary arts, hospitality management, or a related field preferred
- minimum of 5 years of experience in executive culinary management roles
- demonstrated experience in large-scale banquet and multi-restaurant operations
- excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- strong understanding of food safety regulations and compliance
- proficiency with kitchen management software and inventory control systems
Job Qualifications
- proven leadership as an executive chef or executive sous chef in a large resort, hotel, or high-volume restaurant environment
- experience managing multi-outlet kitchens and large banquet operations
- ability to inspire teams, mentor future chefs, and build a culture where people want to stay and grow
- passion for ingredients, technique, and taking a culinary program to the next level
- strong operational discipline including food cost, labor management, and kitchen organization
- ability to stay calm, focused, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
Job Duties
- lead and inspire a talented team of culinarians who care deeply about their craft
- oversee the culinary vision for five restaurants and a high-volume banquet operation
- elevate the food program and help position Town and Country as a top culinary destination in San Diego
- partner with Food & Beverage leadership to design menus that are creative, profitable, and unforgettable
- maintain exceptional standards in food quality, safety, consistency, and presentation
- bring energy and leadership to a fast-paced resort environment where no two days or events are the same
