Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
  • 10+ years of relevant leadership experience in construction or facilities management
  • Proven ability to manage multi-unit construction and maintenance programs
  • Strong financial, budgeting, and project management skills
  • Expertise in regulatory compliance including safety and building codes
  • Proficiency in Service Channel technology platforms
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities
  • Willingness to travel 40-50% of the time

Job Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in construction or facilities leadership in a multi-unit environment with restaurant emphasis
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience
  • Certifications from Restaurant Facilities Management Association or International Facilities Management Association preferred
  • Strong financial acumen with budget, project planning, and estimating skills
  • Technical expertise in restaurant facility maintenance including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and building systems
  • Excellent communication and management skills for executive reviews and team training
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety, NSF sanitation, and BOCA building codes
  • Proven consulting skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders in a matrixed organization

Job Duties

  • Deliver pipeline build-out for restaurant expansion exceeding store week's plan
  • Drive down capital expenditure and increase return on invested capital in restaurant construction
  • Develop capital reinvestment plans in collaboration with asset management and operations teams
  • Manage maintenance and repair of all building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and sustainability
  • Oversee new store turnover processes and asset management understanding
  • Build internal and external resource allocation models for restaurant growth acceleration
  • Lead construction center of excellence for contractor/vendor network expansion and project sequencing
  • Develop budgets and strategies for cost-effective repair and maintenance services
  • Manage preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment and systems
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements for all facilities
  • Drive vendor KPI accountability and consult/train Operations team on facilities ownership
  • Prepare capital allocation strategies for equipment replacement and remodel projects
  • Manage, coach, and develop construction and facilities team members
  • Advise on facility design and equipment selection to support long-term asset upkeep
