Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, business administration, engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in compliance and/or sustainability roles with at least 5 years in leadership positions
- demonstrated knowledge of regulations relevant to industrial manufacturing, parts distribution, or repair services
- proficiency in export classification reviews and customs classification
- strong analytical skills
- excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- project management experience
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, business administration, engineering, or related field
- experience administering a global compliance program at a multinational company
- 8+ years of experience in compliance and/or sustainability roles with at least 5 years in leadership positions
- demonstrated knowledge of regulations relevant to industrial manufacturing, parts distribution, or repair services
- proficiency in export classification reviews and customs classification
- strong analytical skills for interpreting complex regulations
- excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- project management experience with successful program implementation
- master's degree preferred
- licensed customs broker or relevant international trade compliance background a plus
- professional certifications in compliance management or sustainability preferred
- experience in industrial manufacturing, distribution, or repair services
- knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001)
- familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, CDP)
- background in circular economy principles
Job Duties
- Develop and execute compliance strategy under the direction of General Counsel
- design, develop, and update policies and procedures to ensure regulatory adherence
- conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks
- establish and oversee compliance monitoring and auditing programs
- develop and deliver training programs on compliance requirements and ethical conduct
- support investigations into compliance-related incidents and breaches
- prepare reports on compliance activities, risks, and program effectiveness for senior management
- promote a strong culture of compliance and ethical behavior
- support and execute sustainability strategy including waste reduction and energy efficiency initiatives
- collaborate with teams to implement sustainable procurement and circular economy practices
- produce sustainability reports and communications
- support administration of global compliance and sustainability council
- collaborate with executive leadership to integrate compliance and sustainability into business strategy
- partner with HR to develop training fostering compliance culture
