Job Requirements
- Completion of high school
- Minimum six months work experience in a related setting preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of community resources and events
- Ability to plan and coordinate activity programs independently
- Time management and multitasking skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Self-motivated with ability to lead a team
- Valid Montana driver’s license
- CDL endorsement preferred
- Good driving record
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous work experience in a similar setting preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of community resources and events to enhance programming
- Strong ability to develop, plan, and coordinate activities independently
- Basic computer skills for creating communications and schedules
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Valid Montana driver’s license
- CDL endorsement preferred
- Good driving record
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate activities for residents in multiple levels of care
- Create, enhance, and maintain a culture of health, fitness, and overall wellness
- Maintain and improve wellness and life enrichment programs to encourage resident engagement and prevent burnout
- Contribute to developing and maintaining resident participation
- Portray an energetic and vibrant attitude to motivate residents
- Participate in community outreach and health education events
- Coordinate transportation of residents for off-campus activities
- Lead exercise classes and group activities
- Complete necessary documentation
- Maintain daily contact with residents, staff, volunteers, and families
- Create calendars, posters, and daily resident communications
- Support and facilitate staff engagement through committees
- Engage and support volunteers in collaboration with volunteer coordinators
- Hire, orient, supervise, and evaluate assigned staff
- Ensure schedule coverage and minimize overtime
- Provide professional support aligned with organizational mission
- Uphold safety rules and maintain cleanliness of activity areas
- Support Eden Alternative philosophy and St. John's customer service standards
- Attend mandatory safety and training sessions
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator
