Job Requirements

  • bachelor of science in nursing (bsn)
  • minimum of 5 years of recent experience in the long-term care and rehab industry
  • proven experience as a director of nursing in long-term care
  • demonstrated experience managing clinical operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities

Job Qualifications

  • master of science in nursing (msn) preferred
  • minimum of 5 years of recent experience in the long-term care and rehab industry
  • proven experience as a director of nursing in long-term care
  • demonstrated experience managing clinical operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities

Job Duties

  • establish and maintain robust clinical competencies for all licensed nurses through ongoing education and training
  • develop and implement core clinical systems and guidelines including standards for seating and positioning, consistent assignments, and transitions of care
  • define standards and tools for monitoring adherence to dementia care protocols and support social services in event management, grievance response, and guardianship
  • provide expert guidance on infection control protocols and assist in the revision of clinical standards based on best practices
  • provide clinical leadership and support to multiple skilled nursing facilities ensuring the consistent application of best practices
  • drive continuous improvement and clinical excellence across all centers
