Job Requirements

  • must be legally permitted to work in the united states
  • college degree preferably in hotel or restaurant management or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience as a sales or group services manager
  • 2 years experience selling and servicing corporate and social markets including weddings
  • ability to work irregular hours including weekends and evenings
  • strong organizational and negotiation skills
  • excellent interpersonal and coaching abilities
  • attention to detail and multitasking capability

Job Qualifications

  • college degree preferably in hotel or restaurant management or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in sales or group services management
  • experience specifically selling to corporate and social markets
  • proven interpersonal skills
  • coaching and people development skills
  • strong organizational skills
  • attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • high level of creativity
  • knowledge of audio-visual equipment and internet technology preferred
  • proficiency in reading, writing and oral English

Job Duties

  • lead the group event services department
  • prospect and sell group event services to corporate and social clients
  • plan and coordinate weddings and corporate events
  • service clients by maintaining high standards of the Four Seasons brand
  • maximize revenue and profit potential
  • coach and develop team members
  • negotiate contracts and work with deadlines
