Job Qualifications
- Minimum five years of experience in hotel catering leadership preferably in luxury hospitality
- proven track record of successful selling of weddings, social and corporate catering events
- strong organizational and time management skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- proficiency in preparing contracts, banquet event orders, and reports
- leadership skills with ability to supervise and coach staff
- proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- passion for luxury hospitality and service excellence
Job Duties
- Lead and supervise the catering and conference service department
- promote the resort as a premier venue for meetings, events, and weddings
- build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, planners, and the local community
- create and manage event contracts, banquet event orders, and correspondence
- oversee the planning and execution of catering events ensuring exceptional guest experience
- analyze and prepare weekly financial forecasts and summaries
- contribute to the annual marketing plan and budgeting process
