Job Requirements
- Requires at least 4 years of experience
- Requires 1-3 years management experience
- Previous experience in events and catering
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong communication skills
- Available to work event-based hours
- Complete Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required
- Physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull and stand for extended periods
- Wear uniforms and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- At least 4 years of experience in food service or catering
- Minimum 1-3 years in a management role
- Previous experience in events and catering required
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work event-based hours
- Food Handler and Alcohol Service Certifications as required
Job Duties
- Coordinate total catering operations including booking events, supervising teams, and developing menus
- Oversee preparation, service, and cleanup for multiple catering operations
- Develop and implement catering solutions to meet customer needs
- Build and maintain effective client and customer rapport
- Create and execute annual marketing plans including sales strategies and budgets
- Establish service and presentation standards ensuring compliance and consistency
- Introduce new services to support business growth and client retention
- Advise clients and staff on current catering trends and products
- Manage delivery of prepared food from banquet event orders
- Participate in sales processes and contract negotiations
- Train and lead catering employees to uphold standards
- Set and achieve sales, food, and labor targets
- Execute catering events of varied sizes including staffing and management
- Manage accounting functions related to catering revenues and expenses
- Ensure compliance with food safety and occupational regulations
