Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in food service or hospitality industry
- At least 1-3 years of management experience
- Proven experience in events and catering
- Strong communication skills
- Availability to work event-based hours
- Completion of required food handlers and alcohol service certifications
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
- Willingness to wear uniform and use personal protective equipment when necessary

Job Duties
- Coordinate total catering operations including event booking, team supervision, menu development and costing, pricing, hiring, and departmental administration
- Oversee preparation, service, and cleanup for multiple catering operations
- Develop and implement catering solutions tailored to customer needs
- Maintain effective client and customer relationships
- Create and execute annual comprehensive marketing plans for catering including collateral, sales strategies, and marketing budgets
- Establish and enforce service and presentation standards to ensure consistency and compliance
- Innovate and implement new services to support business growth and client retention
- Advise clients and staff on current catering trends and products
- Facilitate delivery of prepared food from banquet event orders
- Participate in sales processes and contract negotiations for special events
- Train and lead catering staff to uphold catering standards
- Set and achieve sales, food quality, and labor targets
- Manage execution of catering events of varying size and scope including staffing and management
- Oversee accounting functions related to catering revenue, expenses, and receivables
- Ensure compliance with food, occupational, and environmental safety policies
