Job Requirements
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Sufficient education or literacy to identify and read product labels and communicate job-related needs
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required with or without reasonable accommodations
- Availability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings or events
Job Qualifications
- College degree in Business, Communications, or Hospitality highly preferred
- Minimum 3 years of hotel catering sales experience required
- Experience in Marriott hotels highly preferred
- Proven experience managing event spaces of at least 10,000 square feet
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in strategic sales planning and execution
Job Duties
- Build excellent relationships with clients, third parties, and community organizations to generate catering business for the hotel
- Provide strategic direction to the catering and conference services team to achieve revenue goals and maximize revenue performance
- Guide the catering and conference services team to meet monthly revenue targets through action plans, targeted high-value accounts, and active selling strategies
- Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure seamless and flawless event execution
- Develop creative menus and catering packages tailored to client needs
- Maintain strong communication with clients throughout event planning and execution phases
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies and maintain competitive advantage
