Job Requirements
- Must have 5+ years experience in cage and credit with 3+ years supervisory experience
- bachelor degree in finance, business management, or gaming/hospitality preferred
- must hold or be able to obtain and maintain appropriate gaming license and alcohol awareness card
- ability to work flexible shifts including holidays, nights, weekends
- must be at least 21 years old
- strong knowledge of gaming regulations
- excellent math and reading skills
- ability to supervise and make independent decisions
- able to handle confidential guest correspondence
- physical ability to perform job duties including sitting, standing, light lifting, and repetitive hand and foot use
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Management, or Gaming/Hospitality Industry is preferred
- 5+ years experience in cage and credit with at least 3 years in supervisory capacity or combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- extensive knowledge of gaming industry regulations related to cage and credit functions
- ability to perform complex reading, writing, math, and task completion
- strong skills in following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, supervision, independent judgment, and decision making
- flexibility to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends
- must be at least 21 years of age
Job Duties
- Create an atmosphere that encourages guests to make Grand Sierra Resort and Casino their choice for gaming entertainment
- actively build and retain guest relations and act as a mentor to team members to provide superior guest service
- coordinate guest service and operational coverage by managing schedules to business levels
- manage cash levels for guest and revenue needs while ensuring kiosks are operational for optimal guest experience
- train team on marketing and database promotions including new card sign-ups
- manage all credit functions including applications, approvals/denials, credit verification, markers, and collections adhering to regulations
- monitor quality of daily work by team members ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
- perform supervisor/manager duties in their absence up to a lower level of authorization
- safeguard department assets
- manage relations with banks, armored car service, central credit, and regulatory agencies
- handle guest correspondence regarding credit applications
- hire, train, coach, and counsel the cage leadership team
- attend and participate in meetings and complete follow-ups
- perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position
