Job Requirements

  • Must have a caring heart willing to serve others
  • excellent oral and written communication and language skills required
  • minimum 2 years experience in staff accounting or heavy bookkeeping
  • strong working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word
  • experience in Yardi or similar accounting software preferred
  • college degree in business, healthcare, hotel or restaurant management, or related field preferred or minimum 5 years experience as a full charge bookkeeper
  • experience in monthly billing and collections
  • payroll processing and timekeeping experience
  • accounts payable processing and approval via electronic platform
  • background in financial management including budget preparation and analysis
  • must be able to work with multiple teams in more than one location
  • willing to work weekends and evenings as needed
  • valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • experience working with senior adults preferred

Job Qualifications

  • College degree in business, healthcare, hotel or restaurant management, or a related field preferred
  • minimum of 5 years experience as a full charge bookkeeper
  • at least 2 years experience in staff accounting or heavy bookkeeping
  • strong working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word
  • experience with accounting software programs such as Yardi preferred
  • background in financial management including budget preparation and analysis
  • experience in payroll processing and timekeeping
  • effective oral and written communication skills
  • experience working with senior adults preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage and organize the business office and general administrative functions
  • process payroll
  • maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • assist with onboarding and orientation of new hires
  • prepare and analyze financial reports
  • oversee billing and collections
  • collaborate with multiple teams across different locations
