Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing or related area
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major
  • 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing or related area
  • ability to lead and manage diverse teams
  • strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • proficiency in budgeting and financial management
  • excellent verbal and written communication
  • ability to maintain certifications and ensure staff training compliance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in event management or related area
  • OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field with 2 years experience

  • knowledge of event operations and technology

Job Duties

  • Manage event service, banquet and event technology operations and staff on a daily basis
  • develop and implement business plans and long-term strategies for event operations
  • establish and monitor measurable goals for the department
  • oversee execution of event logistics for all functions
  • ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
  • lead event management and operations meetings
  • maintain effective communication with property departments and event stakeholders
