Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 5 years of experience in alumni relations, development, event planning, public affairs, marketing, or volunteer management
- ability to build strong customer relationships
- articulate and responsive to colleagues

- strong verbal communication and listening skills

Job Duties
- Lead the planning, development, and implementation of alumni programs that support university goals
- identify and cultivate relationships with alumni and students to promote engagement as volunteers and members
- develop and manage a portfolio of alumni, volunteers, donors, and prospects
- collaborate with university units on fundraising efforts and events
- plan and implement programs connecting students and alumni to increase engagement and participation
- establish opportunities that retain students and alumni in lifelong relationships with the university
- oversee alumni-related marketing and communication including online and social media content
- manage unit operations, budgets, and volunteer teams
