Job Requirements
- At least five years of full-time or equivalent part-time professional, administrative, supervisory, or managerial experience in a relevant specialty
- Minimum one year of experience in project management, supervision, or managerial capacity
- FAA mechanics certification in airframe and powerplant
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) and Inspection Authorization licenses
- Ability to work under stressful emergency situations
- Knowledge of FAA policies and procedures
- Capability to train staff in aircraft maintenance
- Ability to maintain computerized inventory systems
Job Qualifications
- Possession of current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) and Inspection Authorization licenses
- FAA mechanic certification in both airframe and powerplant ratings for a minimum of three years
- Factory training in Airbus EC/H-135 and Cessna C208 aircraft
- Factory training in Turbomeca Arrius LVL 2 Helicopter Engine and Pratt and Whitney PT-6 aircraft engines
- Extensive knowledge of aircraft preventive maintenance
- Strong leadership and supervisory experience
- Ability to interpret technical aviation documents
- Experience with computerized maintenance and inventory systems
Job Duties
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal aviation maintenance regulations
- Maintain FAA-approved maintenance schedules and documentation
- Supervise and train Aircraft Maintenance Mechanics
- Manage inventory of parts and equipment to minimize disruptions
- Prioritize and schedule maintenance work effectively
- Oversee quality assurance and inspection of maintenance work
- Coordinate with FAA officials and contractors as necessary
