Job Requirements

  • associate degree in turfgrass management or similar field
  • minimum 5 years experience in turfgrass management
  • advanced knowledge of agronomy and turfgrass management practices
  • ability to teach and mentor others
  • strong business aptitude
  • passion for the golf business
  • current or ability to obtain pesticide applicator certification and licensing in Arizona within 90 days

  • advanced knowledge of agronomy and turfgrass management practices
  • ability to teach and mentor team members
  • strong business aptitude and passion for the golf industry
  • certification or ability to obtain pesticide applicator license in Arizona

Job Duties

  • oversee the agronomic operations to produce playing conditions outlined in the business plan
  • attract and develop talent at all levels of golf course maintenance
  • manage turfgrass health and maintenance schedules
  • implement technology and continuing education programs
  • engage in long-term strategic planning for golf course maintenance
  • foster a highly functional and collaborative maintenance team
  • ensure compliance with certification and pesticide application regulations
