Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Systems Management, Hospitality Food Service, Nutrition and Dietetics, or related field
  • minimum five years of experience in healthcare food service management or administrative dietetics
  • Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • ServSafe Food Safety Manager Certification
  • proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal
  • ability to use computer software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • ability to work calmly under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Systems Management, Hospitality Food Service, Nutrition and Dietetics, or related field
  • Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • ServSafe Food Safety Manager Certification
  • minimum five years of healthcare food service management or administrative dietetics experience
  • proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • excellent communication skills in English
  • strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
  • ability to work under pressure and manage multiple assignments

Job Duties

  • Coordinate resources within the Nutritional Services Department to achieve goals and objectives
  • direct patient food service operations ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality meal production
  • provide leadership in food production and culinary presentation
  • ensure compliance with quality control standards and regulatory agency requirements
  • collaborate with clinical nutrition services to optimize patient care
  • supervise and mentor department staff
  • develop and enforce departmental policies consistently
