Job Requirements

  • Must attain and retain Tier 3 suitability clearance
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
  • Submit application online by closing deadline
  • Ability to pass National Agency Check and Inquiries
  • Meet federal employment eligibility
  • Comply with drug-free workplace policy
  • Provide required documents including education certificates and DD214 if applicable

Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years of executive-level experience
  • Possession of management principles in planning, coordinating, and attaining organizational goals
  • Knowledge of current business practices and economic principles
  • Ability to analyze trends and improve operating programs
  • Strong marketing, personnel management, and retailing skills
  • Bachelor’s degree with a business major preferred
  • Knowledge of Marine Corps staff procedures and organization
  • Above average oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with Congressional members and high-ranking military officers

Job Duties

  • Serve as director of MCCS Hawaii, overseeing five primary component areas
  • Develop MCCS business strategies and ensure policy compliance
  • Manage all fiscal activities including budget development and administration
  • Represent MCCS to Congress, community members, and other organizations
  • Lead a diverse team emphasizing professionalism and problem-solving
  • Implement and oversee the activity safety program
  • Support EEO program principles and prevent sexual harassment
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
