Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
  • faa a&p certificate
  • 8 years of aircraft maintenance experience with 3 years in senior management
  • international vendor, contract and regulatory experience
  • extensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance and faa regulations
  • legal work authorization in the united states without sponsorship
  • successful interview completion
  • reliable punctual attendance

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in aviation management, engineering or related field
  • faa a&p certificate
  • 8 years in aircraft maintenance industry with minimum 3 years in senior management role
  • international vendor, contract, and regulatory experience for international region leadership
  • extensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance operations and applicable faa regulations
  • legal authorization to work in the united states without sponsorship
  • successful completion of interview
  • reliable and punctual attendance
  • master's degree preferred
  • 2 years in senior leadership role within large maintenance organization including unionized labor workforce
  • proven successful track record
  • strong cultural awareness to build professional relationships globally
  • strong technical knowledge on fleet types and maintenance programs

Job Duties

  • lead all technical operations activities for a hub station and/or region ensuring safety, operational performance, and regulatory compliance
  • execute departmental strategy and business plan through leadership of management team
  • oversee financial management and budget compliance
  • provide direction to workforce maximizing productivity under collective bargaining agreements
  • cultivate a fair and respectful work environment adhering to policies and collective bargaining rules
  • establish and execute regional performance goals aligned with company objectives
  • maintain awareness of operational, financial, compliance, safety and human resource objectives
  • ensure safety and security of aircraft and operations
  • interface with regulatory authorities and local governments to assure compliance
  • communicate effectively within all levels of the organization
  • participate in daily operation meetings providing updates and direction
  • identify key issues and assign projects accordingly
